This quote reminds me of a story about my brother. My brother's Dad had passed away and he saved his money and bought a salt and pepper shaker for Mom for Christmas. He was so proud and happy to be able to give her a gift. She proceeded to chew him out for doing such a thing and was ungrateful for the deed. He is 60 yrs old and it has never been forgotten....forgiven but not forgotten.
true my grandson has given me a few rocks and I love them!!! And Love him!
The Snowy Day: Ezra Jack Keats
“God is in the slums, in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the silence of a mother who has infected her child with a virus that will end both their lives. God is in the cries heard under the rubble of war. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them.” - Bono
