Whiskey Barrel Fire Pit. Need this for the back yard
This is an easy DIY project: paint an old frame, attach thin branches to the frame, nail small nails to the branches to hold necklaces. I like this because it is so easy to use! All you have to do is take the necklace off it’s individual nail. You don’t have to take three necklaces off to get to the one you need. This also makes putting your necklaces away a snap!
While this is in the "our future home" board, I had to try out the pictures on the curtain rod. Found a clearance rod at Wal-Mart and just spray painted 2 round pizza pans from Dollar Tree and a package of round magnets, and voila! Love the look and always changing whats hangind since it's magnetized. Hand-Crafted Faux-Drawer Table (with picture frames hanging above from a curtain rod!)
hang framed photos from a curtain rod--HEADBOARD????
How to get the rustic furniture look! 1. Buy something cheap at a second hand store. 2. Paint the furniture, the color of your choice (a couple coats at least) 3. Once the paint is TOTALLY dry sand the edges such as around the corners and legs of your end table. Sand wherever there are details and grooves in your piece of furniture. 4. Enjoy your piece of fine vintage furniture!
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THIS Here are all the things bought. (all found at walmart) This entire project was under $20. My kind of project! *pictures you want to use * 2 20x30 foam core boards (two black ones $2.88 each) *poster hanger thingies ($2.44) *foam brushes ($.97) *double sided tape ($3) *mod podge (matte - otherwise there's a glare)
For all the pictures you have and no frames to put them in. So neat!
Print off any picture you want, spray paint a piece of wood black, and cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Using Mod podge coat the wood then lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then put a layer of mod podge over the picture. paint some eye hooks and use pretty ribbon as a hanger and voila!

Print your family photos on wood: Print your picture out on plain paper, Take piece of wood and coat with mod podge, turn picture upside down on wood press and let dry overnight. next day using water and your hands rub paper off of wood (your picture will be on the wood) now cover with more mod podge.
great way to display pictures and easy to switch them out.
Using Curtain Rods to hang pictures. So cute!
