Centerville, Pennsylvia. This picture was taken shortly after the house was abandoned in 2003. Since then it has deteriorated badly.
abandoned home ... even if it was lived in I would stare at it ... on another note: why do things have to be colourful these days? faded colours, blending in with nature seems so much more realisticly "old" to me. But then again, I think people used colour in those days, as well. It's just all faded now and we have no knowledge of the past. Only black and white pictures ...

DACHA Looks like a fairytale house! :-) RUSSIA. A seasonal or year-round second home often located in the exurbs of Soviet and post-Soviet cities. Dachas originated during the reign of Peter the Great. Initially they were small estates in the country, which were given to loyal vassals by the tsar.
