The Duggars' Homemade Liquid Laundry Detergent. I've been using this recipe for a few months now and will never go back to buying Tide. This soap works as good, if not BETTER than Tide. The savings alone should be reason to try it out. Leaves no scent on clothes and they still come out soft. I love this stuff! (Rated 5 - TRY THIS STUFF! It's seriously amazing!)

New Nostalgia: Homemade Laundry Detergent...dry...sounds like the best one!To boost the rinsing power use trisodium phosphate (TSP). I use a tablespoon per load, but you can use up to a quarter cup. TSP was in all laundry detergent before government regulation banned it was a commercial ingredient. It really takes the dingy look out of clothes and helps keep the mildew smell out of your washer and clothes. It’s You can get TSP at the hardware store. Be careful to not get TSP substitute.

Laundry Detergent recipe: 1 c. borax, 1 c. washing soda, 1 bar of soap. *Grate bar of soap into a bowl *Pour in one cup of borax *Pour in one cup of washing soda *Mix until all the grated soap breaks up & the mixture looks like regular dry laundry detergent. Use one tbsp per load, maybe 1.5 for huge or extra dirty ones.

Homemade laundry detergent- I love love love this stuff. I used a bar of Ivory and I can't tell you how white our cloth diapers come out. You'd think I'd bleached them. They have no odors, no dinginess, just super bright whites. I also don't separate colors and wash everything in cold water, so that's extra impressive. A fantastic value and very effective detergent. Do it!
10 Laundry Soap Recipes. This is the best website I have found yet. I save sooo much money making my own laundry soap. There are lots of good reccomendations in the comments too. Use white vinegar in a Downy ball as fabric softer :) safe for HE washers, baby skin, and great for people with allergies! I typically use number 4.
