Huffington Post Twitter Powerhouses Series
The "Twitter Powerhouses Series" profiles newsmakers in various fields that intersect with social media. It was co-founded by writers 2morrowKnight and Yasamin Beitollahi, with the first post published on January 4th 2010. To date, twelve other Huffington Post writers - Christel Quek, Ramon Nuez Jr., Jim Thomas, Ann Tran, Mark Hovath, Amy Neumann, Kristen Jones, Elianne Ramos, Barbara Ficarra, Annemarie Dooling, Paul Steele, and Jamie Schler - have also contributed to the series.
My latest interview for the Twitter Powerhouses Series is with Gretchen Rubin, #1 New York Times best-selling author, longtime blogger, and creator of the happiness movement. Rubin is a great example of a traditional author using a blog and social media to create discussion around a subject and a book, even before publication. For this interview, I teamed up with fellow Huffington Post contributors, Sean Gardner and Stephanie Spiro. We hope you enjoy!
This is my new Huffington Post piece (a joint Twitter Powerhouses/Meaningful Leaders collaboration) with digital media giants, Tomorrow Knight and Christel Quek. It's a post on "Social Media and Inspirational Leadership". As Mark Zuckerberg said in an interview after the Facebook IPO, "In a world that's changing so quickly, you're guaranteed to fail if you don't take risks." We hope you enjoy learning more about this group of extraordinary risk-takers!
