Elegantly simple bookshelf, made from louvered blinds.

Great old shutters.

$15 bi-fold louvered doors;took one of the doors and flipped it upside down. Using a jigsaw, I cut the decorative top edge and the little "peek-a-boo" hole. The cabinet body was made from 1x10's and the shelves were arranged to accommodate all my cleaning supplies.A few pieces of scrap wood trim and a plastic Goodwill doo-dad to jazz it up a bit. (maybe I could do this too???)

Bifold Louvered door

Great way to repurpose a salvaged bi-fold door! Vintage wallpaper is decoupaged on lower panels and upper louvers hold candles, mirrors, etc. Love it!

This is a dog condo, but would this not make a great fort? I would line the inside wall with screening to keep the bugs out. Could work, certainly would be nice on a hot night, airy but shady.
