Such a nice way to personalize thank you notes for Christmas gifts! Ask your child to write a message of gratitude on a chalkboard (or dictate one to you) and pose with the present. Take a photo, then send that as the thank you note. You kids gets to show off how much they love their gifts, and the gift-givers will really feel the love.
I have a friend who saves her Christmas cards and then prays for one family each week throughout the year. Just last week I got a postcard from her that said she and her family had been praying for us. What a cool way to love on a family. (Save all the old picture cards you receive, punch a few holes in them and add rings to keep them together.)
Christmas card books. Make one each year, and then display each season.
For those who prefer a minimalist but still elegant gift wrap, this traditional Japanese wrap style may be for you. Shown here, beautiful silver Japanese paper with a hand made abalone knot. It's also referred to as awabi musubi, the Josephine knot, or a good luck knot. I will post a separate link with instructions on making your own abalone knot.
