Chunky Twists

Color + Bantu Knots = LOVE

This month I challenged myself to create 30 different box braids styles. "Why?" you may wonder. Well, every time I would wear box braids, I actually have the same hair style, like a simple bun or half up/half down hairstyle. I know there must be more girls that could use some inspiration, so that's why I challenged myself for 30 days to come up with something new.

WOOOW!! Great job, I'm wearing 2 strand twists w/bulk kinky hair while I transition and I love them but tired of wearing the same style, thank you for the inspiration. I need to go print this out and put it next to my mirror!

What kind of braids are these?

looks like faux locs - lots of ways to install, but mimics locs. there are many tutorials on youtube! :)

Yes to this #rodset on transitioning hair done at Houston’s @staytunedsalon! It blends textures while providing style, shine, hold, and versatility. It’s one of those styles that tends to get better as it gets “older” #naturalhairdoescare #freeyourmanemonday #naturalhair

I'm still trying to adjust to this transitioning. But loving it so far
