Painted cabinets, dish displays, beadboard, lace, tin, farmhouse sinks....love!
lovely window seat, windows, built in shelves - for future when mud room is built and I can get the dog crates out of the kitchen (can not wait!!)
What a charming vintage kitchen! Love the flower shaped table! Antique Home Decor - Antique Decorating Ideas - Country Living
My farmhouse is 200 years old and I wanted an authentic look. I built a faux barnwood enclosure for the w/d; a primitive table for over the dog crate with a curtain that closes when he's not in there. I used ikea varde counters stained special walnut and finished with waterlox. I built the counter to ceiling plate rack in lieu of upper cabinetry. Ikea Ramsjo white cabinets. Double tilt out trash/recycling island from plans modified from Ana White. The walls are Benjamin Moore pale smoke.
Since my house is so small, the only place for my dog crate is in my kitchen. I built a primitive table to go over him and used Premier Prints Ozbourne Blue Twill Fabric to sew a curtain. When Dozer's not in there, the curtain draws all the way across and looks adorable!
Love the fancy schmancy corbels and chandelier combined with the super rustic simple cabinetry and beadboard. Nice! Circa 1865 Missouri Farmhouse Kitchen | Midwest Living
