Depictions of the goddess are common in Russian embroidery, traditionally associated with fertility. Jane Kenyon ... won the Grand Prize for her artwork "TWILIGHT" in the Pfaff Interational Embroidery Challenge: "Landscape, Let us Travel" which opened 2009 in London and traveled to France, Holland, and Germany. The works submitted are primarily created on a home sewing machine using freehand embroidery. Out of thousands of entries, 100 are chosen for exhibition, and for the jurors to name awards.
