Wishing all of our #Vets a Happy #Memorial Day. This video is from Fed with Faith. Yesterday we met Philip, a #HomelessVeteran. I was moved by this man who has not given up hope despite his situation. If you would like to find out more about who we help or get involved with my husband's organization, please like his Facebook page and send him a message. In the meantime, click through and watch the video.

This weekend the world lost an angel. You may not know her, but Shaun Stephenson was my Spiritual Advisor, and has been with me since my company started. She was a friend, teacher, mentor, and was lifted up in love when she knocked on Heaven's door. She will be missed, but her teachings will live on through my company and countless other individuals. Please share her wisdom, by sharing her words of wisdom. - Wendy Manganaro, Founder

Shaun Stephenson (September 22nd, 1969 - May 18th, 2014)

My friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2013 is in the end of her time on this earth, but before she was unable to speak anymore... She sat up on May 9th and uttered these words. Our other friend who was caring for her in the end was kind of enough to record them. Please share this so her life can continue to mean and matter to others. She was an extraordinary woman who lived her life to the fullest even in the most difficult times.

Be Pretty. Be Witty. Be Gracious.

The words from a Morning Meditation.

On Prayer: "I was in complete despair. In the privacy of my room, I begged for help. I had no notion who I thought I was talking to, I had come to the end of my tether... getting down on my knees, I surrendered. Within a few days I realized I had found a place to turn to. From that day, I have never failed to pray in the morning, on my knees, asking for help, and at night, to express gratitude for my life. If you are asking why I do all this, I will tell you..because it works."

Corinthians 9:7 "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Americans make up 72 percent of human-trafficking victims, according to a report released last year by California Attorney General. This is not an over-seas problem like some would think. It's happening right here, right now in our cities. 48% of the persons who engaged in this activity reported that a lack of a safe place to live was the fostering reason for their entry into prostitution and commercial sex.
