Casa Macaya, Barcelona, Spain. Declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest, the Macaya house was finished in 1901. The architect, Josep Puig i Cadafalch, revived the grandiose of the Gothic style with his design of the facade. Arches & columns are intricately carved & decorated by ironwork next to white stucco walls with elaborately engraved designs.

Designed by young Thai architect, Aroon Puritat (in cooperation with Tiravanija) – the house was conceived with a very loose brief. One of the only parameters was to retain the trees on the property, which gives the house a truly organic, meandering shape
