    FYI Tried this today in class. Epic fail. Dark paper absorbed all the color. =(

This is a kindergarten project. Use violet paper and double dip white and light blue paint

After introducing my 6 grade students to Oaxacan wood carvings they each trace a gecko shape and plan their paintings. These are done with tempra on card stock quality paper. We bend the legs to create a 3-D look when mounted.
