I was given this book by my new principal...a definite must read for ALL teachers, especially Title I Every educator should read this book, it gives insight from a poverty stricken 9-year old in a school setting. It raises issues regarding how educators perceive some childrens' behavior. A very touching story that promotes empathy. "If She Only Knew Me" By Jeff Gray and Heather Thomas

Melt down crayon pieces and pour into glue stick containers to harden. Big crayons that can be twisted up as they are used. BEST IDEA EVER!!

to restore dry erase boards that are hard to erase: spray a clean board with wd40, wipe dry with paper towels. the wd40 fills in the dried pores of the board that hold in marker ink, making it easier to erase.

This file contains two separate sets of cards that are designed to give students more responsibility of their learning while still allowing the teacher to actively monitor student understanding and learning. The majority of the cards are designed using red, yellow, green, and blue chevron patterns along with a more printer friendly version.
