We love Tlingit artwork, clothing and accessories. Sorry to say we don't know the name of the artist who did this clever Christmas stocking.

Elizabeth Jean Wanamaker Peratrovich, a Tlingit Native American Indian, successfully inspired the Alaska Senate to pass that state and the nation's first Anti-Discrimination Act in 1945. She testified: "I would not have expected that I, who am barely out of savagery, would have to remind gentlemen with five thousand years of recorded civilization behind them, of our Bill of Rights."
