Colorful Christmas Parcels Tiered Holiday Cake

Christmas - This was my cake for Cake Cental Magazine, vol 4, issue 12. The theme was Holiday Wedding Birds. There are over 400 gum paste pine needles with clusters of fondant pine cones that surround the bottom tier. The wedding birds were hand molded and embossed. The ornaments were created by re-shaping a rose cutter, embossed and hollowed for a slight 3D effect. The topper is made of nesting snowflakes and wafer paper feathers. Hope you enjoy. TFL
