Places I’d Like to Go
One of France's most rugged regions, Brittany is a fascinating mix of spectacular coastline, ancient towns, magical islands and inland woods. A Celtic duchy for more than one thousand years before its annexation to France in 1532, it is a land rich in culture, tradition and history.

great images: One of the many cobbled lane-ways in the pretty hill-top village of Beynac. An extremely steep 150 metre walk from Beynac Castle at the top takes you down to the banks of the Dordogne River below - a bit scary in parts but well worth the effort with picture postcard views around every turn.
