Wish I could have done this. If kids are grown, still a great idea for grandkids..... Better yet - instead of cash, use savings bonds, they will grow in value and be worth their face value when graduation comes!

Crafts for Kiddos / Time-out bottles. Fill a bottle with 3/4 water, one bottle of glitter glue, & ultra fine glitter. Then send this bottle with your child to timeout and they can watch it settle to calm them. Once the glitter is settled their time is up! wow this is such a good idea! if they mess with the bottle their time out time is longer... interesting

"Each year our kids must choose ten old toys to put in their Santa bags. These must be toys in decent shape that other kids would actually want. We leave the bags under our tree on Christmas Eve. Santa takes the old toys back to the North Pole to fix them up he leaves new toys in the bag. Great way to declutter, recycle old toys, and teach the kids about giving

"Technology Tickets". Each Sunday give the kids 10 tickets. Each ticket = 30 minutes of t.v., game system, computer, etc. Tickets can be used consecutively, but when they are out they are out for the week. **Love this idea!!!** Loss of ticket for consequences - talking back, fighting, etc.

Trace their hand on their birthday every year on the same paper. (It will make you cry. They grow up so fast!)
