Natural Architecture

Architecture with bits and pieces of nature

Australian architect Andrew Maynard brought the hill to this cool raised house near Melbourne - a region that is known for being largely flat. This artificial mini mountain raises the home to new heights - literally and architecturally speaking.

Converted farmhouse. Large glazed walls provide plenty of natural light, which casts vertical patterns on the walls and floors through the slatted shutters.

This classic house in Mikonos, Greece gives this picturesque hotspot a run for its money. Designed by Catalan architect Javier Barba of architecture firm BC Estudio, the house evokes the traditional architectural style of the island, with characteristic elements like domes, rounded walls and a whitewashed facade combined with stone walls that help to "ground" the classic yet modern design.

Classic Greek Home boasts

Here we have the green shop of the Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester, a project by architect Minsuk Cho. The building is covered with real grass and plants.

Green Walls, Vertical Gardens, and Sky Farms.

Vineyard Residence. This house is located in California. It is about landscaping and beautiful combination of natural stones, woods, and the modern design.
