Ok enough of cutting the t-shirts were cute but others don't know when to quit. QUIT!!!!

Yes this works...great idea. But...make sure you start with a shirt that is considerably larger than you normally wear. I went only one size up...and by the time I finished, it was a little tight (due to the wrapping of the back) for exercising in. And I cut it too short. Good thing it was a t-shirt I wasn't going to wear anyways...

Each vertical strip is attached at their tops to the shirt, the horizontal strips are attached on both ends (you can just cut horizontal slits in an existing shirt.). Then, you weave the vertical strips through the horizontal strips an sew the bottom! Now to find a shirt I want to cut up....

How did you get to cut vertical strips and horizontal strips in one shirt? wouldn't part of the vertical strips be cut when you cut the horizontal strips? Did you add some cloth to create the vertical strips?
