For summer: Mom puts together lists under five different categories - Oh the Food we will Eat, Oh the Service that can be Done, Oh the Places we will Go, Oh the Crafts we will Make, and Oh the Activities we will Do; every Sunday, as a family, they plan out the week w/activities from the lists.
This site has wonderful tips on how to better yourself, one step at a time, how to make more time with your kids, have more fun, better time management, and good morals too. Great for you moms that feel like the cleaning and cooking and everyday day life seems to be taking over. This is a very good read filled with great ideas, I strongly encourage moms to read up on this.
A toddler-centered Disney World trip plan - where to stay, places to eat, handling discipline away from home, rides to ride, what to do before your trip begins --@Dawna Webster and @Nicole Johnson, this is GREAT advice.
Do everything without whining, complaining or arguing. Every one has their own jar. Start off the week with a set amount of quarters in each jar. If they are caught whining or complaining, they lose a quarter and their sibling gets it. (Ouch) If they argue, they each lose one and mom gets them. At the end of the week, they get the money that's left or you could put it towards an activity. Maybe a good way to earn money for Disney.
