No sew- Cut an inexpensive Target duvet cover in half to make curtains. It's already two layers, so the curtains will be "lined" and not too sheer. Fold the raw edge over at the top & clip with curtain rings. Brilliant.
Even if you've upholstered chairs before, this will teach you the proper way. Especially helpful on corners.

I did something similar, but i used 108" table clothes I'd found on clearance at Target... Then sewing tabs on & making them into curtains. I cut my conduit with a hand held pipe cutter (so easy). dining rooms, sew curtain, sewing tips, curtain rods, bay windows, front doors, sewing curtains, diy curtains, craft rooms

Dress up a cheap frame by decorating is with glue, let it dry, and then paint over it with one solid color and it looks like a specialty carved frame!
