The Chocolate Muffin Tree: Heart Blotto Valentines

The Chocolate Muffin Tree: Bubble Printed Valentine Hearts

I didn't have a full set of blocks so I couldn't use their template, but I made my own cards to fits the colors/sizes that I did have and it was a HUGE success with our pre-school co-op. My 4 yr old loved playing with them for days after that pre-school lesson and his friends that have come over to play loved it as well.

Activity - Fun With Ice/ One of the most enjoyed activities that my preschoolers have done this year. We used magnetic letters rather than Legos. Could also use action figures.

cut pics from magazines, laminate, glue to magnets = road trip activity. I imagine there are lots of other pics you could use in addition to face parts (animals, parts of a "town," etc.)

A-Z Review | Confessions of a Homeschooler

Primary Birds; First Graders reviewed geometric shapes and then chose three for their three birds. We used primary colors (red, yellow and blue) to make our birds. Students then were to use freeform/ organic shapes to create wings and feathers. Lastly we decorated with cotton balls for clouds, string for the line they are on and puffy feet.

Exploring Lines and Shapes ~ five art lessons for Kindergarten that teach students to concentrate on lines and shapes, and which give them lots of practice using scissors and glue. The Crazy Color Face Collage is also available as a stand-alone lesson.
