This surprising card reads "MOM" when it's closed, then "WOW MOM" when it's opened up, thanks to line symmetry. Kids will enjoy making this color-and-cut greeting for Mother's Day. A capital letter folding activity and writing prompt is included.
ABC Order Lesson~ Try word stick centers. Write groups of words on Popsicle sticks, place each set of sticks in a separate container, and then have students sort words before writing them in the correct order. Use with sight words, spelling lists, or words with similar spellings to challenge fast finishers. Check out the pictures and many more great ideas at Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits!

Write sight words on the flat part of the bubblewrap and when they read the word correctly, they got to pop the bubble! It was sight word recognition and an occupational therapy/finger strengthening activity. You could do letter recognition, number recognition, math facts, etc.
FREE! This has been a life saver for me! I attach this Substitute Report (one for each class) to my lesson plans. It easily allows subs to provide feedback (via a checklist) on class behavior, if they followed my lesson plan, how the students behaved, noise level, areas of difficulty, outstanding students, challenging students, and general comments. I receive the best feedback from my subs now.
Great to get the kids making and not "buying".
