Pinterest is a wonderful way for me to create a digital inspiration board for my writing journey. I know it will help me move through writer's block and days when I judge myself harshly for what I have or have not written. My inspiration Pinterest board might even inspire another writer. That would be a double blessing!

Happy Friday! Happy Good Friday! Happy Early Easter! How is your day going? I hope it is treating you well. Mine started with a confession and a double dose of positive inspiration for my writer’s soul. Check out my blog to learn more about my positive inspiration. Enjoy!
Today I needed to hear "Eat, Pray, Love" author Elizabeth Gilbert talk about her life as a writer during her TED Talk. She talks about the fear of not giving birth to great work after having success with her Eat, Pray, Love book. I've been feeling this fear with my current book project.
I adore SheWrites.com, a social networking community for women writers. I was inspired by a recent blog post: Want to Write Memoir? Let Me Introduce Myself and My Manifesto. Maybe We can Help. Posted by Marion Roach Smith. Smith's Writing What You Know: Realia book saved me from myself during my memoir writing process in 2010. I learned so much from her memoir writing book. She always inspires me to get out of my head and write from a place of authenticity.
