4th and 5th Art Lessons
Great for strengthening UE. Working against gravity. Tape a coloring work sheet under a desk or hard surface and make them use non dominant hand to stabilize the coloring sheet. Participate with the child In a coloring race. It will for sure make your arms tired!!!! I did this at my level II rotation under a therapy mat! The kid loved it and very tiring!!!
Illuminated Manuscript Letters. Elmers glue on black paper for outline. Chalk pastels aren't as vibrant on black once you've smeared them into the corners and sides (done several before), but vibrant Prisma colored pencils will work. The cool thing is the gold paint pen to make it look like a stained glass window. Very cool!
arteascuola: Art Revisited: The Cubist collages Inspired by the works of cubist artists such as Braque, Picasso and Gris, with the third class we have created these paintings with mixed media. First was prepared by overlaying a background collage of different papers (sheet music, newspapers, wrapping paper and gift cards, colored ...), then you are drawn shapes and are colored with tempera, oil pastels, pencils and markers in a game of transparencies and objects dismembered and intersected.
