Natural water slide in Alpine, UT. Head North on Alpine's Main Street and then take a left on Fort Canyon Road, which you will follow for about one mile. After you cross a small river surrounded by foliage there will be a gate on your left leading to a field full of construction equipment. Follow the road up to the top, avoiding any tempting detours. Where the pavement ends, a dirt road begins, and to the left of that road is a small dirt path leading through the trees.

THE PUNCH BOWLS One of the coolest (literally) of the Colorado Springs hiking trails, and one of the best-kept secrets. This is a unique 2-mile hike near Glen Eyrie that meanders through a steep canyon, gains 400 feet of vertical, and ends up at the punch bowls-- five granite bowls filled with mountain water. Excellent hike for a hot summer day. Jump into the bowls and go for a swim.
