Nature and Animals
“Now if I believe in God's Son and remember that He became man, all creatures will appear a hundred times more beautiful to me than before. Then I will properly appreciate the sun, the moon, the stars, trees, apples, as I reflect that he is Lord over all things. …God writes the Gospel, not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars.” — Martin Luther (1483-1546)
Coastline rimmed by "firefly squid." "The breeding season of the firefly squid runs from March to May. During this time, a massive gathering of this squid can be seen in Toyama Bay in Japan. They gather here by the millions, even billions, to lay their eggs. The adult squid begin to die once the eggs have been released into the water and fertilized." ("... the photophores in these marine animals are actually very similar to those found in fireflies.)

Belgian Malinois, what a beauty!
Hercules is an English Mastiff and who has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds. (The one my family had when I was a kid topped out at 150, and he was pretty big.)
They call mastiffs "Gentle Giants" because it is so common for them to have patient, sweet personalities. This one is a Brindle Mastiff ("brindle" refers to his spotty coloring). Isn't he beautiful? :-)

I love a good park! This photo collection is called Getting Back To Nature by The Cool Hunter; "We will never tire of the positive effects of nature. Its calming, soothing and inspiring influence will never go out of style. The more we rush, the more time we spend indoors staring at our screens and devices, the more urban our lifestyles become, the more we crave and need time away from it all." True.
