Instant Refried Beans - grind 3 cups dried pinto beans fine, add 3 tsp dried cumin, 3 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt & pepper, 3 Tbsp dried minced onion. Store in jar or ziploc bag. To use, add 3/4 cup mix to 2-1/2 cups boiling water. Mix with whisk until combined. Bring back to boil, cover and reduce heat to low and simmer 4-5 min or until thickened.
