Sutra Message 3/20/13 - sutra II.19 Nature is organized in four layers: individual things we see (particularized--ice crystals), the thing we see prior to its particular form (unparticularized--ice), the form that is beneath the form(differentiated--water), the formless before the form is observed (undifferentiated--the 'uncollapsed wavefunction', potential form)
Snowflakes form in a wide variety of intricate shapes, leading to the popular expression that "no two are alike". Although statistically possible, it is very unlikely for any two snowflakes to appear exactly alike due to the many changes in temperature and humidity the crystal experiences during its fall to earth. // macro shot by Katsumi Oyamada
