A way to prepare okra that everyone will like. Roasted okra. Crispy and no slime. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and thoroughly dry fresh okra. Trim and slice in half longways. Toss with olive oil and spread on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast for about 20 min flipping halfway through.
