Four afghans from Lion Brand Yarn Studio, all from their yarn line 'Amazing' which has *gorgeous* self-striping colorways. The first three are knit, but the same patterns could be easily done in crochet. In the store, the 'Amazing' yarn looks thin & felt scratchy; not sure I'd invest that kind of money for an afghan, but might try one skein of it & see if washing with softener helps.
