A list of ways to help when others grieve. Lots of excellent ideas!
"Not seek to do too much in a little time... This is the KEY to finding peace and rest at home. It is also the trial of our generation!! We have too much stuff. We try to do too many things. Our To Do lists are too long!! We are too capable and we aren't learning that life is not about doing everything. Life is about choosing and learning to hear through the veil of distractions."
Then I remembered something that my beautiful friend Felice wrote on her blog: "Lately I have been realizing that I do have a rich dad--he owns the whole world. And when your dad is rich, you don't really have to worry. He can support me, but only if I let him."
I'm new to this blog, so maybe all the posts are like this, but I thought this was incredibly insightful. If our trials were printed on signs that hung around our necks, it would be so much easier to not judge each other. Moral of the story: assume that everyone you know (and those you don't) is wearing a sign around their neck, and be gentle with them. Sometimes it's a pretty heavy sign.
Let’s be gentle with each other. Let’s read each other’s signs. www.mamamia.com.au
