Some of these are iffy. Adding the 47 years for the cold war and the 43 years for the Indian wars made for a staggering total, but the cold war wasn't exactly the same as a war, and the Indian wars were campaigns of varying length. But even if you take away those 93 years, it's 116 years we've been at war. Still awful.
