This looks like our kitchen floor. One "problem" is that when I sweep it, it is very hard to find my dirt pile!! ;--). Compared to my light gray linoleum in our former kitchen it never looks dirty and everyone thinks it's real wood.

Possibility for extra storage in the kids' bathroom. Could put all the 'overstock' toothpastes, toothbrushes, shampoos, baby items, in cute baskets over the door. Then their would be room in the tiny linen closet for linens.

Easy and cheap! Plywood as a laundry room countertop. Lowes will cut to size... just rub on some danish oil. (add a cheap rubber floor matt between the wood and metal to dampin the sound. GS) Redo for the laundry closet, maybe? Take the doors off??

If you buy a house and can't afford upgrades: Change out your builder grade brass shower trim using Rustoleum's Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint ... what would cost you $800 to replace, will only cost you $5 to paint. Holds up well with the water because it is indoor/outdoor paint..... (Pinner says: I also did this with my light fixtures when we moved into our house)

So cute! Paint letters from Hobby Lobby different colors and hang above towels in the Bathroom.

Navy cabinets, white subway tile, and concrete counter tops. Love, love, love!

Amazing blog about cleaning and organizing the home. She really breaks it down in to easy steps!

I need to do this...Professional house cleaners spill their 10 best-kept secrets to save time & effort. 1 most definitely liked was how to remove grease/dirt build up from kitchen cabinets. Say to clean cabinets, 1st heat slightly damp sponge/cloth in microwave for 20 - 30 sec. until it's hot. Put on a pair of rubber gloves, spray cabinets w/ an all-purpose cleaner containing orange oil, then wipe off cleaner w/ hot sponge. This should make the kitchen look & smell wonderful too!

Great tip!!!! Buy tablecloths to use as draperies....much less expensive, already hemmed, meant to launder often, and many patterns and colors available! 60x84 or buy 60x104 so you can hem them AND still have matching fabric left over for pillows or other coordinating pieces!
