The Hobbit (or There and Back Again) - I would read this before watching the up-coming movie, it's a great introduction to those who don't know Tolkien's work and easier for those less than enthusiastic about fantasy. - Bilbo Baggins is dragged on an adventure he didn't quite ask for by a wizard and some dwarfs, seeking treasure and a lost kingdom. Without the promise of comfort and food every night, Bilbo isn't much of a companion until he stumbles on a precious ring.
J.R.R. Tolkien's THE HOBBIT---one of my FAVORITES.
The Baby Sitters Club...in elementary school I was obsessed with these books!!
Everybody's happy tap dancing Gene Kelly
The Golden Girls...In my opinion one of the best sitcoms in Television history.
The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who disapprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. This is one of the most romantic all around sweet movies based on the Nicholas Sparks book.
Saved By The Bell often incorporated dramatic elements into episodes by dealing with real teen social issues, such as friendship, drug use, driving under the influence, homelessness, financial issues, divorce, graduation, college, sibling rivalry, taking responsibilities for one's actions, bullying, death, and environmental issues.
Saved by the Bell...oh how I loved this show!
