James J. Braddock, aka "The Cinderella Man" and "Pride Of The Irish". Noted opponent Joe Louis, aka "The Brown Bomber" called him the bravest man he ever fought. Proud and yet humble, Braddock became the champion of a country that was weary from war and poverty and became an icon for his ability to take incredible punishment and still come back swinging. A devoted family man who was never wealthy, he nonetheless fed the homeless and hungry through donations to charity and at his own home table.
