This colorful behavior board is an easy way to keep track of student's actions. Because their names are on clothespins, students cannot read the names from their desks, so it is less embarrassing and revealing than color cards (where everybody can tell who's on "red" quickly).
I actually did this lesson on the first day of school in conjunction with teaching my classroom rules/expectations. I was afraid that my jr high kids would think it was stupid- but they liked it and I actually had kids with tears in their eyes because of this lesson. Already seen a change in attitudes
