crafts to try
I love this idea.........5x7 photos, painted wooden boards, mod podge, ribbon. Simple home decor
Paint or staple fabric to canvas, then attach a framed picture.
Just print off any picture, spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Coat the wood with Mod Podge and lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then seal the photo with another layer of Mod Podge. Screw-in and paint eye hooks and hang with a pretty ribbon. Voila!
paint a piece of wood and distress/age the corners, then attach a regular picture frame on top.

Make your own gold leaf papier-mâché bowls!
Here's a more up close pic of it. I bought a 20x24 canvas at hobby lobby and spray painted it ivory. Then I just bought the different fabrics to match my room, and printed a flower petal template offline and cut and paste :-)
Spray paint a cheap frame, scrapbook paper in frame, hot glue a metal clip, change out photos as often as you want.
