Yes, The Catcher in the Rye was one of my favourite books and now, as an adult, I still admire Salinger's skill in using words as if these were heard from an anxious and provocative teenager. I suggested my students to read the novel two years ago and most of them enjoyed it and identified themselves with Holden Caulfield, the main character of the novel, no matter the book was published in 1951!!

Wonderfully written, "To Kill a Mockingbird" has stood the test of time,and with reason, has earned the right to be called an American classic.
