When you paint a room, put some extra paint in a baby jar* and keep it handy for quick touch-ups. pinner said *I did this Aug. 2011 - don't use a baby food jar - use a peanut butter jar that has a PLASTIC lid or it will rust - that was a tip from my painter - it's all stored in a cabinet in the house - just take it out and shake well and use a q-tip for quick touch ups. This has got to be one of the best things I've ever pinned!!!!
Good to know! Change out your builder grade brass shower trim using Rustoleum's Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint ... what would cost you $800 to replace, will only cost you $5 to paint. Holds up well with the water because it is indoor/outdoor paint.
basic drapery tips: 1. 84" length drapery almost never works. (why do they sell them that length?!) 2. Make sure your drapery touches the floor. 3. Always hang your drapery at least 6" above your window. 4. Hang your rod wide enough so that the drapery can stack beside the window.
