super duper fun and easy sensory tub/ learning station: Turtles In My Sandbox to go along with the book by Sylvan Dell

Create a construction site small world that kids can actually GET INTO! This activity uses a small play pool and other frugal materials and my kids LOVED it!

Plastic bottles,10-20 small objects for each bottle, Strong glue Filler options:rice, birdseed, sand, salt, plastic pellets 1. Remove label from bottle and make sure it's completely DRY. 2. Line up items as a "key." Take a picture. Type a list of items as well. Print both and tape to bottle. 3. Drop all objects in bottle. Pour the filler in next. Make sure you only fill the bottle 3/4ths full. You will want enough room for the items to move easily. 4. Glue the lid in place.

Time-out bottles. Fill a bottle with 3/4 water, one bottle of glitter glue, & ultra fine glitter. Then send this bottle with your child to timeout and they can watch it settle to calm them. Once the glitter is settled their time is up! wow this is such a good idea! if they mess with the bottle their time out time is longer... interesting
