Raw Fig Cherry Lavender Honey Cake. Two of my favourite foods are in season at moment – cherries and figs. I found a gorgeous bunch of deep violet lavender at the markets last weekend so was inspired to add a bit to this cake. This is a colourful and tasty festive treat, and using a little coconut meat in the recipe in place of some of the cashews makes it a bit lighter also.
No-Rice Sushi: cucumber, carrot, avacado and red clover sprouts. Julianne and mix in 2tsp lemon juice and 1tsp agave. Wrap in seaweed. Dip: 2 cups of unsalted, raw cashews, 3 bunches of fresh basil, a clove of garlic, the juice of 1 lemon, 1 pinch of salt, 1/2 cup of spring water. Put all the ingredients in a food processor, add a little more water if needed and enjoy!
