Here is a beautiful creation by Rea Harper using the new Stampin' Up! Gently Falling stamp set. I've seen many awesome cards and projects done with this set, but so far I think this is my favorite! Stampin' 'n Stuff: Pocket Silhouettes
By Patsy Collins. Glossy cardstock used. Sun shape masked. Bands of colors sponged on & blended (Memento ink: cantaloupe, sweet plum, grape jelly, lady bug, rhubarb stalk, tangelo). Mask removed. Sun sponged with Memento dandelion ink. Blended cantaloupe, tangelo, and lady bug ink into sun a bit to soften sun's edges. Plant & sentiment stamped with Memento tuxedo black.
By Lee Ann Barrett (whippetgirl at Splitcoaststampers). Blue card base with ivory & brown panels. Add woodgrain dry embossed tan panel. Stamp scene. Sponge background. Die cut using an oval die inside another oval die. Pop up the outside oval when adding the ovals to the card base. Tuck die cut cattails (Spellbinders) behind the right side of the ovals.
By Birgit Edblom (Biggan at Splitcoaststampers). Punch or die-cut a circle; position on white linen cardstock as a mask for the sun/moon. Sponge background with Distress inks (Try antique linen & brushed corduroy). Remove mask. Sponge over the edges of the moon. Stamp tree in brown (Try vintage photo or gathered twigs). Sponge branch area with red-orange inks (Try rusty hinge, ripe persimmon, & fired brick). I would add the twine before attaching the piece to a brown or kraft cardstock base.
