Stephanie ~ Caterpillar fruit ~ grapes, watermelon blackberries or blueberries, kiwi, cantelope, apple head- frosting face, horsetail antennae, almond feet

Caterpillar snack. Have fun with some gross motor skills, using your body to creep like a caterpillar, snuggle in a cocoon and then flutter like a butterfly. Make a model caterpillar to re-tell the story or take into the garden for some small world play.

Could use after reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar! KIds would use their fine motor skills to stick the grapes and strawberries on the stick. Children will use their imagination to think of their snack as a caterpillar.
