some of my favorite books from now and from when I was a kid
lost in a book
Judy Blume defined a good part of my childhood
This book is awesome. I just reread it a few months ago, and it totally holds up, 22 years after it was published.
I loved the Bunnicula books! I still have them
I will argue that comic books are also books worth reading, and someday I'll write a book about that :-)
Indeed, they are.
I'm just going to put up a picture of Madeleine L'Engle, because I love her work, and it would take up too much room to pin all of her books
still a classic
traveling psychiatrists who love animals and sci-fi?! I wish I could adopt myself into this family
I adore everything Jen Lancaster has written
I love books that can make me laugh and cry in the same sitting
I love that this deals with the human emotions associated with a zombie apocalypse....and now I hear it's going to be a movie with Brad Pitt. I'm intrigued, but skeptical
more YA fiction that I love!
I fully admit my love for young adult fiction, especially when it combines fantasy and mythology...
when I remember that the kid who wrote these books accomplished way more than I ever did at 19 (or however old he was), I feel inferior. Then I lose myself in fantasy, and feel much better
Yeah, I know everyone on the planet loves these books, but I have to restrict my love to the first one, and reserve "liking okay" for the last two.
the sequel to Blackout...
time traveling historians in WWII England? Yes, please.
When is the sequel coming out?! This was reviewed as a grown-up Twilight, and while it has elements of that, it's so much better than that.
this, despite being a book of neuropsych case studies, reads like a novel. It is literally a page turner. Unless you have a Kindle or similar device. Then it's a button-pusher.
the human brain is so astounding!! I love it!
It's Harry Potter...need I say more?
How can you even talk about books worth reading without including The Lord of the Rings??
this book and its sequels are so hard to describe, but they're so good! It's fantasy/sci-fi/mystery/humorous/romantic/action...or something like that
