Great idea for a large back yard: Use your solar lights. They aren't just for the ground! Take a 2x4 and cut them into squares to fit the existing fence posts. Using galvanized screws - not nails - to screw a "L" bracket to the underneath base. Then on top, screw on the stake.

Fill container with vinegar, sugar and salt to trap wasps... I'll be placing these around the yard this year!

Gardening Tip - Put Epsom salts and sugar into each hole with your plant. It makes them grow larger, leafier and greener. 4(epsom salts) to 1(sugar) ratio.

Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. I use baking soda in a 6" wide area around all of the edges of my flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into my beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. do this twice a year - spring and fall.

Another pinner says - I have made these before - so easy! Lowes sells the 4 to 6" round PVC pipe with holes already drilled. Purchase an end cap, fill with rock, soil, and plant. I will often put these in the center of a very large pot to stabilize, and add amazing height and color to a container that has trailing plants (no end cap or rock needed if you are placing in a container)
