Free! Yearly Curriculum planner...Organize your yearly curriculum, including unit topics, themes, etc. in this two-page chart. It is colorful and basic enough for any grade level

Could be an icebreaker for the first few days of school, or could be part of a math menu. For 1st or 2nd grade and up I would have them roll two dice and add the numbers together to find out what to tell about themselves. If part of a math menu, the things to tell could change often.

Free! My First Week in Speech, understanding goals and how to improve

Another icebreaker activity. This worksheet asks the students about their summer. The students could fill these out on the first day of school and then share them with the class. Transition from summer to the classroom is often difficult so allowing the students to reflect on their fun times will make the transition easier.

Narrative Writing - Great for back-to-school time! Students will love writing about their summer experiences with this beginning of the school year narrative writing project.

Seriously... hands down... the best readers workshop for kindergarten!
