+ ROOTING SUCCULENTS - cleanly pull/break leaf from plant making sure whole leaf is in tact. Allow to dry out & end to scab over. Place leaf on top of soil. (if you bury the cut end in soil, it will only root from that end. If you lay on top of soil, it will grow both roots & form new plant) Water when soil becomes dry. For more tomatoes - pinch off those suckers, the whole middle branch! Suckers are branches that grow in the middle of two established branches. They drain the energy and reduce the crop. Those branches in between can be removed, put in water to establish roots and then planted for a whole new crop.

DIY Gardening project (craft) - Used a pair of jeans and four two-litre pop bottles. Fill the bottoms of two bottles w/ plaster, saturated the jeans w/ Stiffy Bow, which is a sort of gluey thing that stiffens when it dries, let them dry, and spray on two coats of clear polyurethane. Adorable planter, quick and easy!
