ABCs for Literacy

More than twenty years ago I worked in the children's section of the Half Price Books flagship store in Dallas. It was a wonderful job. I am now a mother to six children, which is wonderful too. I love children's books, especially when they are well illustrated. It was hard to choose from many favorite artists. I could have included Ezra Jack Keats, Elisa Kleven, Alan Lee, Robert McCloskey, Wendell Minor, Patricia Polacco, Alice & Martin Provensen, Juan Wijngaard, David Wisniewski and many more.
